Tis’ The Season…

I know it might be a little earlier for Christmas shopping but I know some of you like to get started reeeeally early on making your wish lists or shopping for others. Most of us gamers are very thoughtful shoppers and do a lot of our shopping online. I figured I might as well get this post up before I forget or before its too late.

Unfortunately the new Doom game isn’t due out until next year so I’m going to have to wait on that. GoG has some good deals on Quake games right now and I’d suggest going there for some deals. Steam is always an option if your whole game library is already there and you want everything in one place. No word on Quake 5 yet so who knows if and when that is ever going to happen. Luckily most of id Software’s games have great replayability.

I’ve recently got into DOTA 2 and joined the hoards of moba players. It is really competitive and though I still prefer shooters as my #1 genre it is a nice change of pace.

Here are my top choices for PC gamers for this holiday season:

Alienware Gaming Computer. Alienware is hands down the best gaming PC maker. They look really cool and they run perfect. You can check out there models at Alienware.

Elgato Capture Card (For Streamers)

Razer DeathAdder Mouse

Razer BlackWidow Keyboard

Turtle Beach Gaming Headset

Steelseries Mousepad

DX Racer Gaming Desk. I know desks aren’t a one size fits all.

DX Racer Gaming Chair. DX Racer makes what it seems like a million different chairs. No matter how tall or wide you are they have one that can fit you. You can find all their options at their site’s page here.

If you want the ultimate set up it is difficult to get any better than that frankly. These brands are the best. Maybe they are expensive but I’m putting together the best of list for the holiday season of 2015 here. I didn’t go into components here, I will do a list for that later for those of you who like to build your own PCs.

Quake Gaming Gear

If your a big Quake fan, then you’ve got to show it. There are plenty of products with the Quake name and symbol featured you just have to know where to look. One of my favorite products is this Quake Gaming mouse pad. Quake Mouse PadIt has a really cool rustic look. The textured print and Quake logo are simple but clean and cool looking. The body of the mouse pad is black with the bronze logo. Then you have the rounded corners as well. The backing is fitted with a non skid rubber material. That will keep it in place even if you thrust your mouse hard. The size of this mouse pad is 8.66 by 7.08 inches in size. The manufacturer says this mouse pad is not created with any glue or harmful chemicals. You can find this mouse pad here for purchase.

This is a men’s t shirt featuring the same Quake logo. You can get it from the Bethesda online store. Quake ShirtYup you guessed it. It is Alien Strogg Tank from Quake 2. This action figure has working gears. The legs use piston action to move. The weapons also fire there is a spring inside the rocket launcher that launches “rockets.” The spring joints on the feet of the tank make the legs move. This is a great nostalgic piece for old time Quake fans.Quake 2 Action Figure
