This new
replacement for the single barrel shotgun
comes with a punch that will help you
splatter your enemies gibs across the
room. See screenshot 2.
The skin
is what makes this mod stand out. The
sleek black and yellow scheme looks good
giving the Baron a nice futuristic feel.
The model is a little confusing. It looks
as though your hand is at the front
giving the Baron sort of a glove like
feel. The barrel of the gun is not
visible making you wonder where the
plasma would be shot from.
The
targeting mechanism works wonders. Making
it simple, almost to simple, to vanquish
your enemies quick. It almost feels like
you could just shoot anywhere and hit
somehing.
This mod
adds a lot of help to the game if you
like to play it on the hard or nightmare
settings. It can also help you be a
little sloppy with your aiming which, on
the harder settings, can be a good thing
since you have plenty enemies to kill. I
don't suggest using it on the easy or
medium settings unless you like to play
pointless games.
Overall,
the Baron is a very original looking gun
with the added punch to help.
