A great
example of how deathmatch maps should be
made. This level features fantastic
architecture and design. Plenty of great
sniping spots, large enough to host up to
10 players, yet small enough to provide
fast, furios action for 3 to 4 players.
Just look
at these screenshots and you can see what
I'm talking about. The overhead pillars
provide for great sniping points but do
make it hard to manuever when you're
under attack. The textures are used by an
artist that the author doesn't know. Daz
does comment, "Thanz to whoever
did there really good :)". Good
indeed. They mesh perectly with the
authors architecture giving this stone/temple
map a new feel that isn't exploited in
other Quake maps.
Weapon
placement is done nicely, the grenade
launcher being the most valueable weapon.
Item placement is done just as well
providing plenty of health but little
power ups to give a more balanced match.
Overall,
this is a high quality map and should
provide hours of great deathmatch.
