who sought to conquer before you, lie
buried beneath this poisoned earth..."
This level
was really has the fun faction going.
Lots of cool traps from enemies jumping
at you to spikes coming out of the walls.
I suggest you go ahead and start the
download while you read the rest of this
review.
To start
off, the texture use is perfect. A
complete medival map from the hanging
zombies to the eerie torch lit walkways.
The weapons and ammo are nicely balanced.
You never have to worry about running out
of ammo but that isn't because of lack of
monsters.
The level
flows rather quickly, but don't go to
fast because you wouldn't want to miss
out on anything. I especially liked the
fortress on this level, just check out
screenshot 1 to see what I'm talking
about.
Matt must
have a knack for complex level design.
The hallways in this level run the player
in circles, always seeming to make you
end up where you started. Don't let this
discourage you, just keep moving and
you'll make through.
Overall,
this is another great level from Matt
Sefton. Download and play.
