    A Meaty Center by SoopahMan

SoopahMan mailed me and asked me to review this map for Quake3Stuff. However, his own description of the map in the readme describes this map better than I ever could -

This map attempts to recreate the spawn rooms of Quake Team Fortress in Q3CTF. I love spawn rooms because they lend to fiercer battles and allow for more varying numbers of players. Initially the doors would only open for players on the correct team, but Q3 bots didn't understand and would try to get in incessantly, flooding the console with errors. So, instead the doors just kill members of the opposing team. There *is* a way to get through them (I'll leave it up to you to figure out how), but it's not easy. There are 2 ways in and out of every area, even if it doesn't seem as though at first. There's a coward's (intelligent?) way into every area. Camping spots abound in this map, and the bots use them, but the map leans towards the run & shoot player. The map also makes teamwork unusually important because of the tight flag tunnel (enemies can just sit on the other side) and open middle ground (enemies can pick you off all they like) - it doesn't lend well to the "Hero" type, unless the player is really ridiculous at the game. Alright that's enough.

So, what did I think of it? It's a great CTF map for about 10 players, memorable for the doors on the spawn rooms. Not everyone's cup of tea, but certainly worth downloading and having a look.
