    Fallen from Space by QuartZ

Another fan of Q3DM17 who just couldn't resist making a clone!! And a fairly close imitation it is too, with little bits of other original ID spacey-bouncy maps thrown in. Don't get me wrong, this map isn't a rip-off or anything, in fact it's a good testimony to the fact that custom mappers can do just as good a job as ID Software mappers. Best played with about 4 players, this map aims to balance the favourite Railgun with the Plasma Gun (of which there are 2), and does it well. The bounce pads have been placed carefully and supposedly speeds have been set so as to make mid-air railing more of a challenge. The Plasma Gun is your only man for hitting the giant target that activates the trap where the invisibility item sits. Construction is ok, maybe it could be a bit better - but maybe that's just the feeling given by the wide open spaces that are inevitable with this type of map. Plenty of stuff to pick up, but I always think these maps should have Personal Teleporters in case you fall off. No joy this time. An okay map, not nearly as good as quartzdm1, but a good attempt for spacey-bouncy and a great effort when you consider that the author usually does gothic. I'd like to know what you guys make of this one, so let me know.
