    The Railing Box by SgtGhost

Reviewed by RawShark webmaster of RawShark's Quake2 maps

    Filename: sg_rail1.pk3

Very small box map, intended solely for practicing with Railgun against a bot. The entire ceiling is mirrored which gives the impression that the room is even bigger than it actually is, but this would play havoc with your FPS if you were online - so don't be at it! I think you'd be hard pressed to find a server running this map anyway. The design is nice, great use of curves and such, textures are well chosen. You start automatically with a Railgun, so there's no actual weapons in the room, just plenty of slugs. There's also some yellow armour and Regeneration, which you'll be thankful for sooner or later. A nice map overall, bit too small - but the kind of map you'd have a go at creating yourself and therefore worth having for examination purposes.
