    Tantrum by WaSp

Reviewed by RawShark webmaster of RawShark's Quake2 maps

    Filename: tantrum.pk3

The author of this map was so engrossed in building it that he forgot to mention his name in the readme file! He also forgot a levelshot, AND to make a pk3 file. WTF? But don't worry, disregard the install instructions he included, 'cos I've made this into a pk3 file myself, to save you guys the bother, or in some cases, confusion. Because I'm getting good at this review business, I've also managed to find out who the author was AND get his email address! Hehe. I wonder if the CIA or looking for any new staff!

Nice use of Gothic Architecture and textures have been used here, with a big central area that is perfect for intense RL battles. In the centre of this room is a very interesting pit full of Fog of Death and other stuff, the Fog being what you should avoid :)

Weapons include RL, GL, RG and SG. I really liked the custom bounce pads and thought that the bot file was excellent. Due to the openess of this map, it's perfect for plenty of players, unlike most other maps. This map was lucky to not get dropped, nay hurled, into the Quake3Stuff Bin of Death by myself for all the confusion with the original file. The only thing that saved it was it's playability and that's exactly what you should do with it - play it!
