    Blood Run by ztn

That master Quake and Quake2 mapper ztn has now gotten his paws into Quake3 mapping - and praise the Lord for that! This is an excellent map that is extremely well constructed and quite possibly the most playable map I've encountered yet! The theme is gothic with more curves than Pammy Anderson!

There's plenty of weapons and ammo, RL probably being the weapon of choice this time out. There are some really nice touches too, like when you jump down the stairs you actually go a lot further than you would expect, and you have to do a neat little double jump to get to the Quad Damage. I really, really like this map and recommend downloading it immediately.
What has prevented me from calling this the perfect Q3A DM map is that the bot file isn't great, they tend to get stuck on the bounce pads and hence make easy targets. Shame about that :(
