  • About - flag_match
Flag match is a combination of rocket arena, ctf and team-dm played on converted Q3DM maps. A single flag spawns in a fixed location that gives one point to each team member of the player who touches it. It respawns in the same location 10 or so seconds later. That's it! No wishy-washy rules; just a skillz and position control.

Team Flag Match - Teams have to defend and overtake the flag room. The whole team switches between offense and defense as they try to hold onto the flag. Teams will either wrack up points by holding the flag room or prepare for an assault by gathering powerups.

1-on-1 Flag Match - It's ideal for 1-on-1 because players don't have to search for each other, it eliminates lame "runaway" tactics, and camping in locations other than the flag room is self-defeating. Large maps play as fast as (if not more so) than smaller maps because players are drawn to the flag room.
