Tusk and Bone by Shaun Ross aka [Kona]

Reviewed by Joe Huskey webmaster for RetroQuake

    Filename: alkdm03.pk3/alkdm03.zip

[Kona]'s first journey into Quake3 mapping brought about two maps, Abhorrent Bone and Animal Tusk, both included with this pack.

You will find simularities between both of these maps with their large dome/temples and rusted looking textures. Each are built well for 1 on 1 FFA, but the action really gets going with 3 to 4 players. Each level also has great continuity with medium sized outdoor areas and close indoor areas for intense battles. Although they don't offer the usual eye candy present in an alk map, they both do include some intresting sites provided by the architecture and texture usage.

Bots work very well with these levels due to their smooth layouts and provide some great gameplay.

So if you're looking for two intresting styled maps that bots can utilize then download away!
