This is really a great map, no doubt about it. Spawning at the outside of the temple, you have no idea what awaits you.You can see a shotgun. Okay. You can see plenty of ammo. Fine. But little do you know that inside other players are having vicious BFG and Rocket Launcher battles within one of the most impressive Quake3 gothic pieces of architecture constructed yet! There are steps on different levels, the central stairs leading down to the BFG, which rests just in front of a teleporter that will bring you back out to the front of the temple, ready to enter again except this time much more dangerous! This is definately a BFG map!!
Foreign_Militia has done a really good job with this map, on all fronts. The guy thinks BIG, which is nice for a change instead of tight corridors and small rooms. He believes in big open area battles, which is what most people like anyway. The map comes with a recommendation of 1 on 1 Tourney, but I think that it can easily handle a player load of 6-8.
In this map, the Rocket Launcher is for wimps. There's something you don't see everyday, so I think it's worth downloading just to see it today at least. Nice piece of work
