    Disinformation by Bal

Reviewed by Relix webmaster of Maps By Relix

What a fantastic commitment to level design! Bal has outdone himself in this reviewer's
opinion. Disinformation is excellent in many ways. But above all else, atmosphere is the tell all here. Bal states that it is some sort of space station centered around an asteroid. For me it's a great playable map no matter what the theme is based on.

Bots are worthy adversaries in here and frequently hangout around the R/L and the P/G. They have no fear of trying to go for Quad and catch you gazing at the high-tech "moving" objects as I often seem to be doing..:) They always wait til you get gawking att stuff then "BAM", the 'ole rocket to the melon trick

Custom textures from the meatpak make an appearance here and are utilized well. Bal certainly has an eye for a design eh? He did an outstanding job on weapon/item placement as everything is perfectly balanced. A huge achievement for such a large map. Connectivity is amazingly well planned so as not to get you lost during play. I have used this map in several of my LAN matches and will continue doing so.

Now if I were the camping type, I would find myself perched at the G/L location seen in shot 2 staring down on where most of the mayhem is taking place, [picking up a few extra frags] but like I said..I'm just not the camping type. I would rather chase 'em down
as opposed to waiting for them. Anyway, you must pick up this map as I know you will find it a worthwhile download. Don't forget, you got it from Relix, and I certainly don't dish out any "Disinformation".
