Bridging the Gap by Hr.O

A unique style and an awesome texture set from Evil-Lair help to make Bridging the Gap anything but an ordinary space themed map. The author did an excellent job on the construction of this map with careful attention to item/weapon placement.
The center of the bridge sets the stage for the mega health while Quad is perched precariously atop the support structure at the far end. I dare say if you happen the chance to grab the quad, you won't want to stick around long. Despite the immense size the map plays quite well. Bots are enjoyable with their area of interest centered on the bridge as well as in the lower section of one of the main rooms.
The map is Hr.O's first and quite impressive I must say, especially since it's a space map. It will support 8 ppl comfortably and all weapons are there for the taking except for the BFG. I am not much for space DM's, but "Bridging the Gap" is no ordinary space map. Be sure to grab it, you might just be glad that you did.
