    The original map was a kickass DM map for Shogo, and this conversion is a kickass DM for Quake3, particularly if you have a lot of players! It's a big enough map, using the tech texture set to produce a map this is extremely playable and hard to grow tired with. Plenty of different levels ensure high altitude action, but also gives the problem of a lot of cratering as you try to reach health. There are wide open spaces for RL battles and small rooms for SG exchanges. Something for everyone I think.

    It seems all the weapons and most of the items are here, there being 2,3 and sometimes 4 of each weapon. The BFG is extremely well hidden and you are to be congratulated if you find it. No particular weapon rules this map, its a matter of personal taste - but I found the Plasma Gun to be most effective. There are some very nice touches like the floor in the Lightning Gun room being electrified and Quad Damage being out on a ledge, making you an easy target. Good map - has its faults (lighting needs work, for one), but they're hardly noticeable and there's plenty of stuff to make up for them.
