A highly enjoyable Model , and highly playable, this is one Model everyone should download and enjoy. This is apparently the Author's first creation, and the end result is a very good one for a first attempt. To start with I thought this Model was one made on the lines of Joker in the Batman series, but the Author has described it as the "Enemy of the Dark Knight".
This Model has everything that a new bot for Quake 3 Arena, should have; A very good bot file, new chat scripts, good ctf and team support and skins, plus some new sounds that fit the Model very well. As mentioned, the bot file is very good; there are no glitches that I came across, and refreshingly no obsession for the Railgun (finally!). The bot uses all weapons nicely, and while he is not a deadly opponent, he can hold his own in most situations. There are two Joker bots to choose from; Jukes Joker (who wears a black suit), and the default Joker bot (with the pink suit). The design of the bot is very good, and I think a lot of work had gone into the face, and as a result the Model always holds that comical Joker-like expression on his face which you never get tired of. The rest of the Model is very simply made, with the open coat and of course the green and yellow bowtie is a nice touch. The taunt expression also has been very well done, and the arms outstretched feature is not only comical, but also gives the Model a sublime form of authority. The death expression is also nicely done with the bot virtually on his his knees with that teasing look on his face . (quite creative).
The sounds too are very humorous and adds to the entertainment value of this bot. Whichever way the Author got these sounds, credit must be given, because they fit the Model perfectly. If you are looking for a nice game offline, while keeping the atmosphere friendly, then this is the bot you're looking for.
Probably the only complaint comes in with team and ctf support. While the bot has decent support for Team games, its not all that good, and could have been better. The skins also are quite plain ( for Team players). There are a number of disadvantages you might come across if you choose to use the Joker skin as your skin. Because the Model is quite tall, and has broader shoulders than most, you might become an easy target to your enemies, and also that pink coat is quite noticeable even in darker Arenas.
But these things apart, the Model is quite complete, and is a good example to anyone aspiring to design Models of there own. The author deserves a lot of credit for this creation, suffice to say you won't regret downloading this Model.
